Massive Spring Haul: Sephora, TJ Maxx, Macys
I am super excited to share the items that I bought over the last 7-10 days. I was on a major shopping binge since there has been so many sales and clearance items. A few stores around me are also closing so that made my finds even more exciting and valuable! Without further ado let's start with our favorite:
The items that I bought at Sephora were not on sale, but it's always fun to buy makeup. I really wanted to buy the Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette, but they didn't have it in store. Right on the other side of the ABH display however is Fenty Beauty.....and I really think Fenty Beauty is a pretty strong newcomer. I originally wanted to buy the Killawatt highlight in Metal Moon, which is a white highlighter with a blue base. You can see it here, but it looked weird on me. The blue stuck out on my skin too much, so I migrated over to the duo highlight and I loved it! The highlight goes on nicely and works super well for the day time. I also love that there is a more muted side for a more subtle glow.
I also was eligible for a 500 point purchase, so I decided to pick up the Smashbox Flawless in Five box. I've never really invested in Smashbox too much (besides their primer water which is amazing), but I'm really starting to appreciate their quality. The photo finish foundation primer was excellent and their mascara worked super well too!
OH MY GOSH! TJ Maxx is having some insane sales and clearances (which is crazy when thinking that the store already sells marked down items), and I took advantage of it ALL. I went to three different TJ Maxx's and they all had a clearance area, especially in the beauty section. If you can see below some of the lashes were only one dollar. Eyelure I believe was $6 and the revive one's were even less and they include two pairs. I think for everyday practice lashes TJ Maxx is such a great place to purchase!
I also bought a lot of beauty tools as well because having extra sponges and brushes never hurt anyone.
Really excited to try out this LED lit touch mirror, which was only $16.99! I prefer the shape of this mirror versus the round ones so I was super excited by this.
I also purchased the frizz eliminating sheets by Redken for my hair. It helps to tame flyaways and it actually did work!
By far the most exciting purchase was the Glamglow Flashmud Brightening Treatment. Glamglow products, especially their mud treatments, run around $70 for a jar. The results of the products however are amazing so they are worth it. When I came across it the price was only $22! I picked it up right away--I will be testing it soon and placing a review up!
Lastly I finished my shopping with Macy's. Sadly the Macy's closest to me is shutting down, which is a bummer because I really like their sales, but does bring up a great opportunity to shop. So the entire store was close60-70% off the lowest marked price. I immediately headed to the fashion jewelry area and I bought several earrings and a few necklaces. I didn't pay more than $7 on any of these items and it was amazing! There were also other home things and men's clothing (that I won't include), so it was a HUGE haul!
Whew! That was a lot! Thanks for making it all the way down to this part. I wanted to end this with some honorable mentions to help you on the quest of finds:
- TJ Maxx recently has been carrying more high end makeup. There were actually a few Anastasia Beverly Hills blush, highlighter, and contour palettes in store
- Macy's is unfortunately closing down in many areas, which is sad, but the best time to go to their sales is about 10 days out--that's when the savings are at it's greatest
- Banana Republic is giving an additional 50% off of their sale--pretty awesome discount with an additional 10% off if you use your Banana card
- Sephora also has weekly deals now that are 50% off highlighted products, check every week online to see what products are on sale
Here's a video so you can see everything:
Thanks Everyone! Have a great start to the week and I hope you find some great savings!
